All 3 mixes of Karma tell of overcoming a toxic friendship. Its live mix style was inspired by artists like Taylor Swift, 5SOS and Olivia Rodrigo. The lyric starts full of melancholy, realising a dire situation; passing through stages of anger and not knowing how to deal with the problem; to then being frustrated with the way you’re treated; until it becomes a song of joyful freedom when the toxic friendship is over.
