Empty Alone is a song dedicated to those “good judges of character” and to those who were too late to see a person’s true colours. With Flora’s driving rhythm guitar and elegant, angsty backing vocals, she hopes the lyric will inspire joyful independence and positive friendships

With its live sound and textures of the open road, 'SpeedLimit' shows another layer to Flora's songwriting. The
lyric takes listeners to a place that seems calm but is verging on being out of control. With its driving drum beat and mysterious guitars, ‘SpeedLimit’ aims to rule the road.

All 3 mixes of Karma tell of overcoming a toxic friendship. Its live mix style was inspired by artists like Taylor Swift, 5SOS and Olivia Rodrigo. The lyric starts full of melancholy, realising a dire situation; passing through stages of anger and not knowing how to deal with the problem; to then being frustrated with the way you’re treated; until it becomes a song of joyful freedom when the toxic friendship is over. ‘Numb’ describes that peculiar feeling when a meaningful relationship ends. A place where your emotions are so wrought you lose the ability to feel anything. This lyric captures how raw and exposed one can feel, but even if you're not heart broken, you should make sure the other person is okay.

'Victim and Villain' was inspired by a fiery poem about sexual assault and domestic abuse. The lyric talks about how an abuser’s actions can severely affect the other person in the relationship.
This song’s purpose was to target a very current and persistent issue in a different way.
